Philip Blais is the president of Blais Excess & Surplus Agency of Texas, Ltd. Phil acquired the agency in 1999, and under his direction has grown the company to over $75 million in premium. Blais Excess has become known for its expertise in Executive Lines market place.

Prior to creating Blais Excess, Phil was the Zonal/Regional Manager for AIG and Chubb Group Companies and the Executive Line Coverage Leader of a number of major alphabet brokerage facilities.

Phil is a graduate of University of North Texas. He is a leading speaker on marketplace conditions and coverage analysis.
