Mike Elliott  has nearly forty years of insurance and reinsurance experience.  Upon release from active duty in the United States Coast Guard in 1967,  Mike  began his insurance career with the Insurance Company of North America as an aviation underwriter .  His underwriting background  has allowed Mike to become with all facets of General Aviation, Airline Aviation and Commercial Aviation including  Air Cargo, Products Liability, and Fixed Base Operators. 

 In 1975 Mike became the head of Aviation and Marine Reinsurance for SCOR Reinsurance Company. Four years later, he joined the Sedgwick PLC a global broker now owned by Marsh McLennan. He later has been employed with BEP International a division of AON and has for the last ten years been with EWI RE, Limited a division of the Contran Group in Dallas, Texas specializing not only in aviation risks, but workers compensation, professional liability, and placing reinsurance for larger captive insurance companies belonging to larger corporate clients.

Mike was one of the founding members of the Aviation Insurance Association and is a past officer of the Northwest Marine Insurance Association.  Mike is a retired Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve and is a graduate of the University Of Washington in Seattle.
